Supporting Future Leaders

2021 marked an incredible milestone -- the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Commonwealth Study Conferences in 1956, and the centenary of the Founder and Patron, HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh. All Study Conferences and Leaders Dialogues held over these many years follow a unique experiential format with the same objective: Building capable future leaders across the countries of the Commonwealth. The conferences and dialogues provide leadership learning beyond the classroom and workplace. They bring together accountable participants who share new experiences across different organizational settings, focusing on real-time issues: integrity, inclusion, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and technology deployment.

The Duke of Edinburgh Commonwealth Study Conferences Canada with the support of the President, HRH The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, is activating plans to celebrate and continue this leadership legacy. Delivering these plans requires the energy and support of a dedicated group of directors, advisory committees, donors, sponsoring organizations and successful alumni of the Commonwealth Leaders programs.

The President’s Council of The Duke of Edinburgh Commonwealth Study Conferences Canada invites current and new donors, Leader program alumni and sponsors, and Conference friends to join in activating the building of the next generation of Commonwealth Leaders. Donor support funds program development as well as funding the program experience for participants.
