Commonwealth Study Conferences
In addition to its role as leading conference facilitators, and in an effort to innovate program delivery, the Canadian Board hosts an annual Leadership Forum giving President’s Council members the opportunity to hear from leaders about the unique challenges faced within sectors, and the innovative initiatives being utilizing to create sustainable strategies for success.
In 2024, the forum set a foundation for the upcoming Caribbean Canada Leaders Dialogue being held in Canada and the Caribbean in May 2025. A keynote by CCLD 2025 Chair Wes Hall inspired the audience and a distinguished panel as they explored the 2025 conference theme “Impact-Driven Leadership: Creating Positive Change in Our Communities”. Full forum information is available in the attached brochure.
Similarly, the year prior, the Board hosted forum explored the theme “Engaged Leadership for Inclusive Change”, the theme of CSC 2023.
As the most gender and age diverse Commonwealth Study Conference, with participation by 248 delegates from 35 Commonwealth countries, Canada’s role in reinvigorating a 16-year hiatus is admirable.
In 2023, as part of the experiential dialogue, global conference alumni were invited to Montreal, to attend an alumni reunion and the conference closing plenary.
