He has previously served in senior management roles in the private sector, from the manufacturing and processing industry to insurance and financial services, before becoming head of the largest cooperative in New Brunswick. His leadership stands out for his adaptability and eagerness to develop corporate strategies that target longterm commercial success by incorporating performance drivers including financial considerations, organizational realignment and development, operational efficiency and a client-oriented approach. In 2015, Mr. Moreau joined the UNI Financial Cooperation team as Vice-President, Corporate Services, taking an active part in the institution's transformation by overseeing human resources, information technology, general procurement and real property portfolio management. As Chief Executive Officer of UNI Financial Cooperation since January 1, 2017, he strives to embrace a forwardlooking strategy while continuing to lead the transformation process to ensure that UNI remains relevant and intergenerational. Long dedicated to supporting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, he remains a highly active member of the province's business community. He has served on numerous committees and boards, including as president and CEO of the Conseil économique du Nouveau-Brunswick and co-chair of the Governor General's Canadian Leadership Conference in 2008 as well as chair of the New Brunswick study tour for the 2012 conference. He currently serves on the boards of the New Brunswick Business Council and the Canadian Credit Union Association and as Atlantic delegate to The Co-operators. |
