Maureen ScottForestry Officer, Pacific Forestry CentreMaureen Scott is a Professional Forester, working and playing in the forests of British Columbia and Yukon for 30 years. Since graduating from UBC with a degree in Forest Sciences, Maureen's career has included research, policy, timber supply, operations and programs. Maureen currently is a Forestry Officer at the Pacific Forestry Centre, Canadian Forest Service in Victoria, where she works with Indigenous communities on forestry-related economic development opportunities. In 2019, she had the privilege to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh's Emerging Leaders' Dialogue series. Maureen's other passions include mountain biking, back country skiing, surfing and hockey. |
