Ian is a proud Acadia University alumnus, spouse, and parent and currently holds the position of executive director to the President and Vice-Chancellor of Acadia, focusing on university communications, government relations, and strategic initiatives. Ian has developed professional proficiency in strategic planning in marketing, communications, public relations, public affairs, and events execution. He enjoys long-term planning and goal setting while expanding knowledge and passing it on to others. Ian quickly identifies illogical and inefficient procedures and policies and is keen to develop and implement comprehensive systems to solve organizational problems. Ian is highly collaborative and biased to achieve consensus.
